Skin Tag & Mole Removal

Safe, Precise, and Minimally Invasive Treatment

Skin tags and benign moles can be safely removed using the Accor Plasma Pen. It’s a non-surgical procedure — no cutting, no stitches, and no lengthy recovery. The Accor Plasma Pen uses a precise arc of energy to treat the lesion directly, leaving the surrounding skin untouched.

Benign moles can be treated using the same method — your practitioner will assess suitability at consultation.

How Does the Accor Plasma Pen Work?

The device generates a small, controlled plasma arc that lightly touches the surface of the skin. This causes the targeted tissue — the skin tag or mole — to dry out and fall away naturally over the following days. There’s no cutting involved, and the risk of scarring is significantly lower than traditional removal methods. Healthy skin around the lesion is left completely unaffected.

Not all skin tag removal is the same

Many clinics use cryotherapy — freezing the lesion with liquid nitrogen. It can be imprecise, uncomfortable, and often requires multiple sessions. Others use lower-grade plasma devices that lack the consistency needed for clean results.

The Accor Plasma Pen is a surgical-grade, low-frequency plasma device. That means greater precision, more controlled energy delivery, and a significantly cleaner outcome than either cryotherapy or standard plasma alternatives. One session. No freezing. No cutting. No guesswork.

What to Expect

Consultation

Your practitioner will assess the lesion to confirm it’s suitable for Accor Plasma Pen removal. This is also your chance to ask any questions before treatment begins.

Treatment

The area is cleansed and, where needed, a topical numbing cream is applied. The Accor Plasma Pen is then used to precisely treat the skin tag or mole. Most appointments take between 15 and 30 minutes.

Aftercare

A small scab forms over the treated area and falls away naturally within 7 to 10 days. Keep the area clean and dry. Avoid picking the scab. Protect the skin from sun exposure until fully healed.

Safety and Side Effects

Your safety is the top priority. Plasma pen removal is only suitable for benign, non-cancerous lesions. If there is any uncertainty about the nature of a mole, you will be referred for further medical assessment before any treatment takes place.

This treatment is only suitable for lesions confirmed as benign. If you have any mole that has changed in size, shape, or colour, please see your GP before booking.

After treatment, a small protective scab will form over the area. This falls away naturally within 7 to 10 days. Aftercare is straightforward: keep the area clean, don’t pick at the scab, and protect the skin from sun exposure until it has fully healed.

Tahira — Lead Practitioner & Director

Tahira’s career began not in a beauty clinic, but in the operating theatre. With over 35 years in high-level healthcare — including roles as a Senior Surgical First Assistant in the NHS, BMI, and Spire — she brings a level of anatomical precision and clinical rigour that most aesthetic practitioners simply don’t have.

That surgical background is what makes the difference here. When Tahira uses the Accor Plasma Pen, she isn’t just removing a skin tag. She’s applying the same steady hand, sterile environment, and obsessive attention to detail she developed over 28 years in surgery.

Consultations available in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Basic Arabic.

“I treat every face with the same care and precision I used in the operating theatre. I look forward to helping you feel like the most confident version of yourself.”

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during this procedure?

The area is cleansed and a numbing cream applied for your comfort. The Accor plasma pen then delivers a controlled arc of energy directly to the lesion, causing the tissue to dry out on contact. The treatment takes around 15 to 30 minutes. You’ll leave with a small scab over the treated area, which drops away naturally within 7 to 10 days.

How many sessions will I need?

In most cases, one session is all that’s required to remove a skin tag or mole completely. Larger or more raised moles may occasionally benefit from a follow-up session. We’ll give you an honest assessment during your consultation.

Will it leave a scar?

The risk of permanent scarring is much lower with plasma pen than with surgical removal, because there’s no cutting involved. Following the aftercare advice — particularly avoiding picking at the scab — gives you the best chance of clean, even healing.

When can I return to normal activities?

Most clients return to their usual routine immediately after treatment. During the 7 to 10 day healing period, you should keep the area clean and dry, and avoid swimming, saunas, and direct sun exposure on the treated skin.
