Non-Surgical Scalp Treatments

Helping your scalp work better. No surgery. No downtime.

Treatment Options

TK Face & Fillers offers clinically-led, non-surgical scalp treatments designed to support hair density, improve scalp condition, and encourage a healthier follicular environment – without surgery, medication, or lengthy recovery.

The two main approaches are growth factor scalp therapy and microneedling with regenerative compounds. Both use your body’s own materials or biocompatible compounds to support scalp condition.

These treatments are suited to clients who have noticed a change in hair density, scalp health, or overall hair quality and want to take a proactive, non-invasive approach.

Growth Factor Scalp Therapy

This treatment uses a concentrated solution of your own growth factors, drawn from a small blood sample and prepared in-clinic using a centrifuge. The result is a solution rich in the proteins your body uses to repair and regenerate tissue – applied directly to the scalp in a targeted pattern

The growth factors stimulate cellular activity at the follicle level, support scalp microcirculation, and create a healthier environment for hair.

A small blood sample is taken and processed in-clinic to prepare a concentrated solution. This is then applied to the scalp in a targeted pattern.

Sessions typically take around one hour. A course of treatments is usually recommended for the best results.

Microneedling with Regenerative Compounds

TThis approach combines microneedling with the application of either polynucleotide solution or exosomes, to support scalp health

Microneedling creates micro-channels across the scalp to maximise absorption of the regenerative solution. PPolynucleotides support collagen production. Exosomes support scalp condition

Why choose TK Face & Fillers for scalp treatments?

Many clinics offering scalp treatments are primarily filler or skin-focused, with limited understanding of the clinical precision required for effective scalp work. At TK Face & Fillers, Tahira brings a genuinely medical background – over 35 years in healthcare, including 28 years as a Surgical First Assistant in NHS, BMI, and Spire hospitals.

That matters for scalp treatments, where injection technique, depth, and distribution make a significant difference to outcomes. Tahira applies the same anatomical precision to scalp work that she applied throughout her surgical career.

All treatments are performed in a clean, clinical environment following a full consultation to confirm suitability.

Key Benefits

No surgery, no anaesthetic, no recovery time. These are in-clinic treatments carried out during a standard appointment.

Uses your own biology — Growth factor scalp therapy uses a solution concentrated from your own blood

Supports scalp health — Improves scalp condition and microcirculation

Most clients return to normal activities immediately. Some mild redness or sensitivity at the scalp may be present for a short time after treatment.

Scalp treatments can sit alongside other health and wellbeing choices. Your practitioner will advise on what is appropriate for your circumstances.

What to Expect

Consultation

Your practitioner will discuss your concerns, review your health history, and confirm which treatment is right for you. The consultation is included with your appointment and ensures treatment is carried out safely and appropriately.

Aftercare

Avoid washing or touching the scalp for 24 hours after treatment. Keep the scalp away from direct heat, saunas, or intense exercise for 48 hours. Follow any personalised aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner. Contact the clinic if you experience any unusual or prolonged side effects.

Safety and Side Effects

Both treatments are safe when administered by a qualified medical professional. The growth factor solution is derived from your own blood and carries a very low risk of adverse reaction. Polynucleotides and exosomes are biocompatible compounds well-tolerated by most clients.

Common side effects are mild and temporary:

  • Mild redness or sensitivity at the scalp
  • Slight tenderness at the injection sites
  • Mild itching in the days following treatment

These effects typically resolve within 24 to 48 hours. Your practitioner will carry out a full medical history review before any treatment proceeds. Clients taking blood thinners or with certain health conditions may not be suitable – this will be confirmed at consultation.

Your practitioner

Tahira — Lead Practitioner & Director

Tahira’s career began not in a beauty clinic, but in the operating theatre. With over 35 years in high-level healthcare — including roles as a Senior Surgical First Assistant in the NHS, BMI, and Spire — she brings a level of anatomical precision and clinical rigour that most aesthetic practitioners simply don’t have.

That surgical background is what makes the difference here. When Tahira uses the Accor Plasma Pen, she isn’t just removing a skin tag. She’s applying the same steady hand, sterile environment, and obsessive attention to detail she developed over 28 years in surgery.

  • NMC Registered Senior Nurse
  • Advanced Surgical First Assistant (SFA)
  • Advanced Practitioner in Botox & Dermal Fillers
  • Former NHS Band 7 Manager & Infection Control Lead

Consultations available in English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, and Basic Arabic.

“I treat every face with the same care and precision I used in the operating theatre. I look forward to helping you feel like the most confident version of yourself.”

— Tahira, Lead Practitioner & Director

Frequently Asked Questions

A course of three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is typically recommended for growth factor scalp therapy, followed by maintenance appointments every few months. For microneedling with regenerative compounds, your practitioner will advise based on your individual assessment.

Results are gradual – most clients begin to notice improvements in scalp condition and hair quality after the second or third session. The full benefit of a course typically becomes visible over three to six months.

Mild discomfort is possible  but most clients find it very manageable. A topical numbing option can be applied beforehand if needed. Your practitioner will talk you through what to expect before treatment begins.

No significant downtime. The scalp may feel slightly sensitive for 24 to 48 hours after treatment, and we recommend avoiding strenuous activity, saunas, and scalp washing during that time. Most clients return to their usual routine the same day.

Yes – your practitioner can advise on combining approaches where appropriate. A personalised treatment plan may incorporate more than one modality to support the best outcomes for your scalp health.
